Our “Vintage Plain” model guitar straps are designed for the guitarist looking for all the quality, durability, and comfort of our hand-tooled straps, but in a “dressed down” version.
These straps are fashioned from sturdy top-grade stitched saddle leather. The shoulderpads are backed in plush sheepskin shearling, providing unsurpassed comfort even with the heaviest instrument. The bucklework is chromed solid cast zinc.
Strap is 1″ wide.
Shoulder pad is 3″ wide.

I have two El Dorado straps (regular and vintage). Absolutely outstanding workmanship which is unavailable anywhere else. The leather quality is amazing. I had been using nylon “seat belt” type straps. The difference in comfort is amazing. My heavy bass, which was starting to cause shoulder problems now feels like a light acoustic. Thank you for making such high quality straps. The vintage is the perfect strap for a Telecaster.

The quality of this strap is second to none. Thick top grade leather and a level of craftsmanship that is hard to find these days. I wanted a vintage style strap for my fiesta red Stratocaster and this strap (brown) fits the bill perfectly. It is comfortable and holds the guitar firmly in place. The neck will not dip with this strap because the shearling pad reduces slippage at the shoulder. I was so impressed I ordered a second one (the wider, original model plain strap) in black for my hollow body.
